Here at Salt and Earth Collective - we want to create, a club, if you will. A space offering all kinds of goodness that can help you lean into all kinds of health and wellness. Our offerings include yoga, yacht yoga, in person events and workshops, yoga on demand (monthly membership coming soon), breathwork sessions, retreats, corporate wellness events, massage therapy sessions, and more.
Life is meant to be lived fully! In order to do that we need to take care of ourselves- body, mind and spirit. In world of quick fixes and digital satisfaction we believe in the enduring effects of choosing to feed our bodies and minds nourishment. So let's come together in community and well as on our own individual journey. Let's choose to make everyday a personal health day by creating habits and routines that uplift us. In choosing self, we choose to shine, and in doing so we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. Here we believe that rising tides lift all boats and there's no stopping the greatness that can felt and explored in each and every day. By actively choosing self and participating in our own health and wellness we can truly create the life we dream.
We are a community of individuals focused in living life to our best capacity. Founder of Salt and Earth Collective, Katie LaLicata, is dedicated to helping you feel good. By sharing yoga classes, wellness experiences, retreats, and therapeutic body work, there no end to the magic she believes we can create together. Katie is passionate about what she does, and is committed to providing you with the best guidance and tools and community to support you in living a happy, healthy and peaceful life.
By name, Katie LaLicata, around town and around the globe, I am often known as the mermaid. I am indeed a lover of life and more so than anything else I want to share this joy with you. If we learn the right tools along the way, then this journey, this human experience, can indeed be one of more joy and less suffering !
We can cultivate our own well being regardless of circumstance. Life can be good. Every day we wake up and choose the kind of life we have - then we get to put in the work, get out of our own way, and let life grow lush around us. I look forward to sharing part of this journey with you!
As for what makes me "certified " to do any of this (beyond some wild and wonderful life experiences)?!
I am a CA certified massage therapist with a focus in sports recovery, deep tissue and myofascial release. I have been doing body work since 2020. In addition I am a Registered Yoga Instructor (ERYT 500.) I have been teaching for over 10 years, and have taught over 500 hours. I have taught internationally, locally and have been a wellness facilitator for lifestyle brands like Prana and Vuori. I am also a reiki master and have a degree from CSULB in Communication Studies.
